Making herself at home by making her home her own.
At 270 acres, Carolina Meadows has a large campus, one that has organically developed into a series of adjoining neighborhoods, each with their own subtle characteristics. Judy Bauman enjoys the feeling of being in her own neighborhood and delights in working in her yard, saying, “I enjoy taking ownership of the place!” She found the same to be true on the inside, where she was able to request modifications to her home to accommodate a tidy painting studio. “Because of the size of the campus, we have everything going for us. We have speakers, musical groups, a golf course, a swimming pool, bocce ball and a dog park. The size means it meets the needs of a lot of people.”
