Director Of Nursing

This position is primarily responsible directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with current state and federal regulations.  Additional duties include overseeing scheduling of staff, budget proposal and supervisory roles.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises the delivery of all nursing operations and functions of Health Center on a daily basis and ensures effective and efficient resident care.

Driver CDL

Drives residents to medical appointments, shopping centers, banks and other establishments.  Assists residents who need help entering and exiting units, vehicles and or destinations.  Helps carry packages and shopping bags when necessary.  Must be able to load and unload large elderly persons in wheelchairs.  Other duties as assigned which may include assisting other departments as needed.  Requires valid NC Commercial Drivers License (Class C) with good driving record and ability to lift up to 75lbs. without assistance.

Fairways Nurse Manager

Bachelors degree in Nursing or graduate of accredited school of nursing or related field, two (2) to four (4) years of supervisory experience in an Assisted Living community and Registered Nurse license; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills and be knowledgeable on Department of Health and Human Services regulations for Adult Care Homes and sanitation guidelines. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and general office equipment.

This position is considered to be an essential position and is primarily responsible for ensuring the general well being of the Fairways residents through the delivery of high quality services and care and facilitating and overseeing of nursing projects care utilizing fair and objective judgment. This position is the supervisory head of the nursing staff within assisted living and overall building function and security while on duty.  Additional duties may include providing resident care as required.

This position is primarily responsible for providing physical and exercise science programs to residents and staff throughout the Carolina Meadows Community. Associates degree in Physiology or related field, two (2) to four (4) years of geriatric physical and exercise science experience with a Personal Trainer certification required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be knowledgeable in bio-mechanics.

HOME CARE CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT-PRN POSITIONS FOR EVENINGS & WEEKENDS

Carolina Meadows Home Care is up and going! We are looking for customer focused Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one on one care to our residents. This exciting new opportunity is open to those with a current CNA certification in the state and those with flexible availability. We have openings for PRN only at this time.

  • Displays a degree of flexibility in work assignments. Acts as a team member and assists other team members to meet work requirements.
  • Maintains a flexible schedule to meet the organizations work requirements. Acts as a preceptor to assist with new employee orientation.
  • Attends in-service programs to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Accepts client assignments and displays flexibility with schedule.
  • Reviews schedule weekly and accepts PRN assignments or duties as directed by scheduler, nurse, or supervisor.
  • Demonstrates basic safety competence. Reports as needed to the supervisor and/or other designated resource person any inability to perform skills or competence for any task.
  • Documents daily the task performed, service provided, and any communication concerning client. Records time daily according to procedure.
  • Follows the residents plan of care. Performs activities or duties specific to residents needs as ordered on the plan of care each visit.

Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant

Seeking a polished marketing professional with 2-3 years of experience in overall administrative support of a Sales and Marketing office team. First contact for all incoming calls to the proper representative, assign sales leads, maintain call log and entry of all contacts into CRM system. Create, organize and maintain all new resident files. Address walk – in tours and general tours of the community. Maintain assigned reports and invoicing for the department. Assist with social media and email marketing campaigns. Maintenance and inventory of all collateral materials, office supplies, and essential office items. Initiate and process assigned paperwork. Send, receive and distribute all mail and organize and facilitate meetings/special events. Working knowledge of standard office equipment including computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines and knowledge of filing systems. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience, a valid North Carolina Driver’s License, Commercial Driver’s License Class C and three (3) to five (5) years driving experience. Position is responsible for greeting and serving meals to residents, guest, and staff in the dining room and for setting up, serving, and breaking down any and all special functions.

* Assist with table and chair set up of the dining room, additional rooms for each meal period and all prep work prior to opening of the dining room.

* Greets residents, visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure the individual is promptly served during meal time to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.

* Performs cleaning and sanitation of the dining room to ensure compliance with all federal and state health regulations.

* Process order through AOD (Answers on Demand) computer system to ensure that order is entered accurately and billed to the correct resident or guest so that payment is received.
