Medication Technician

Responsible for meeting the individual needs of residents as outlined in the resident care plan, monitors assigned residents for health status changes, assists in the process of medication preparation. Must have valid NC Medication Technician certification and valid NC C.N.A. certification. Experience assisting elderly population preferred.



3:00pm – 11:30pm (64 hours bi-weekly, e/o weekend)




11:00pm – 7:30am (16 hours bi-weekly, e/o weekend)

PM Floor Technician

Primary duties include sweeping, mopping, and buffing/scrubbing kitchen floors.  Other duties include cleaning/detailing hoods, above stove filters, grill stations, and draining fyers.  Additional duties as needed to maintain inspection readiness of kitchen per ServeSafe specifications.


3:30pm – 12:00am (80 hours bi-weekly, weekends included)

Vice President of Plant Operations

Manages the daily operations of the Physical Plant in our community of over 700 residents.  Assures continued and effective operations; prepares and administers annual operation and capital budget, and supervises maintenance, landscaping, golf course and security staff. Bachelor’s degree in related field.  Minimum of ten years relevant professional experience in the management of a large – scale institutional, industrial or commercial facility.  Experience in hospitality, higher education, or residential environment desirable.  Must have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, proven leadership, be computer literate and possess analytical ability.  Experience with supervision and major capital construction management projects within a large organization preferred.



Wait Staff

Take orders and serve meals to residents and guests in dining room.  Restock wait stations.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.  Must be at least 16-years of age.

5:00pm – 9:00pm (40 hours bi-weekly, weekends included)


On – call as needed

LPN or Med Aide

Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. Current LPN licensure required or valid NC Medication Aide certification and valid NC C.N.A.   Previous long-term care experience preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Duties include caring for residents.  Compassionate, team player attitude required.  Current NC CNA certification required.

Drives residents to medical appointments, shopping centers, banks and other establishments.  Assists residents who need help entering and exiting units, vehicles and or destinations.  Helps carry packages and shopping bags when necessary.  Must be able to load and unload large elderly persons in wheelchairs.  Other duties as assigned which may include assisting other departments as needed.  Requires valid NC Commercial Drivers License (Class C) with good driving record and ability to lift up to 75lbs. without assistance.

Fairways Shift Supervisor

Plans, directs, evaluates and supervises total nursing care and functions on assigned shift. Responsible for the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality nursing care, other duties as needed.

Two years nursing experience assisting elderly population and supervisor experience strongly preferred. Valid NC LPN licensure required.

Administrator (LNHA)

Seeking a licensed, experienced administrator who will be primarily responsible for planning and directing the overall operation of the Pines with a focus on Person Centered Care. Responsibilities include budget development and management, participation in interdisciplinary team initiatives, leadership role in CQI initiatives, collaboration and participation in customer satisfaction and marketing initiatives, overseeing building maintenance and fulfilling all licensure requirements for the facility.  Close collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other members of the team is critical to success in this position.

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business or related field, minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in a skilled long-term care center and North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator’s license required. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, multitask, prioritize, delegate, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable of North Carolina state rules and regulations regarding skilled long-term care centers, sanitation and other prevailing regulations. Candidate must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and general office equipment.
