Nicholas DiEugenio’s work as a performer, teacher, recording artist and writer has been guided by the conviction that music is a central experience in the expression of humanity. He strives to create and participate in musical programs that, at once, invite and challenge the listener. He leads a versatile performing life as a chamber musician and soloist in music ranging from early baroque to current commissions at a variety of national and international venues. He is Assistant Professor of violin at UNC at Chapel Hill. Pianist Mimi Solomon, his wife, enjoys a multifaceted career as a chamber musician, soloist and teacher at the UNC-CH Music Department.
