*AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT® Classes:  Shoulder Smarts*

7 Mondays 10:45 – 11:45 am, July 15 – August 26

Shoulder challenges?  Your shoulders are the most complex joint in your body.  Frequently, we have only a vague idea of how they are designed to move.  If we move as if the shoulder joint is located “where our sleeve attaches”, then, far too often, pain and restriction result.  In these classes, you’ll experience the remarkable capacity of your brain to improve HOW you move.  As you explore the coordinated dance of the upper arm, the shoulder blade, the collarbone and the ribs, you’ll create easy and comfortable use of your shoulders, arms and hands.  [NOTE:  You must be able to get up and down from, as well as lie comfortably on, the floor.]

*Register in the Wellness Book. Cost is $35 and will be billed to your CM account.*

11:00-11:45 am Aqua Moves
Aug 26 @ 11:00 am – 11:45 am

This class is a form of water exercise and relaxation that combines Tai Chi concepts. It is performed standing in shoulder depth water using flowing, yet powerful combinations of deep breathing and slow broad movements of arms legs and torso. It brings awareness of muscle activity and posture. The movements improve chronic pain, arthritis, neurological conditions and help improve balance deficits. No cost, no sign up required. Come give it a try.
