An Active Approach

Staying active is an important part of a long and healthy life. Here you can choose from a comprehensive array of fitness, sports and game activities offering nearly endless options. We have strength and cardio equipment and a wide range of group exercise classes at all levels which are tailored to the needs of the population. Certified personal trainers are here to help create a personalized plan for any individual, as are equally certified instructors who coach and assist. Reduce stress, control weight, rule the tennis court, lower your golf handicap, hike and bike, swim laps or immerse yourself in low-impact water exercises. All serve to enhance your wellness.

Holistic Therapeutic Services

Experience the benefits which result from curative integrative therapies that help bring balance to the whole body, administered in a tranquil studio right on campus. This is a peaceful space where licensed outside providers perform massage therapy and acupuncture services as recommended by your care coordination team, or simply because you find these therapies beneficial.

Whether you’ve been at CM for many years or only a few months, it can be difficult to meet people unless someone introduces you. You may want to get to know someone better whom you have seen in one of your classes or volunteer activities, or find some folks with common interests.

Come and spend a five to ten minutes chatting with each person and enjoy the opportunity to make some new connections in an open, friendly environment. Try it by yourself or bring a friend or neighbor so you can both expand your connections here in our Carolina Meadows home. Attend as often as you like.
