Our award-winning Chefs raise the culinary bar with six unique dining options that will be sure to satisfy your tastes at anytime of the day or night.

Courtyard Dining Room

Savor white tablecloth service six days a week for an elegant dinner. (Closed Sunday’s). Reservations are required. The modern and open design of this dining room allows you to enjoy our beautiful landscaping while still allowing for intimate conversations. Our 56 seat private dining room is available to reserve for your special event or meeting. Please contact our Catering Manager for more information. Delivery Service is available to your apartment or villa for a small fee.

The Pub

Enjoy a more casual yet full service, modern approach to dining with both traditional and trendy menu options. The Pub features over 20 carefully selected beer and wines from our cellar or one of the special wines featured each month. You may also bring your own bottle ($2 corkage fee) to share with friends. Late night options are perfect while you wind down after a busy day.

The Bake Shop

The Bake Shop features a daily variety of house made pastries, breads and delectable desserts to enjoy with your coffee, tea, latte or cappuccino. Please ask our Barista to customize your beverage to your liking or choose from our menu of delightful hot and cold coffee house drinks. Enjoy a gelato or house made soft serve ice cream or frozen yogurt from the many flavors we will feature daily. Counter service or full table service are available.

The Marketplace

Looking for a casual dining experience with a variety of chefs stations from rotisserie chicken to pizza? If so, The Marketplace at Carolina Meadows is your destination. With stations that include Soup, Salad Bar, Featured Entrees, Grill, Rotisserie and a Chef Station as well as Desserts and Beverages, no two days will ever be the same. Our staff will be available to assist with service and seating in this open and inviting dining room.

The Fairways Dining Room

The Fairways is Carolina Meadows assisted living community. This charming dining destination is available to all residents. Independent Living residents must make reservations to guarantee seating and availability. The menu features elegant breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials plus a variety of traditional daily favorites.

The Café

The Café is the perfect spot for a quick bite, or to savor one of our award winning Milkshakes. The menu features house made soups, Boars Head brand meats for a sandwich and fresh salads made daily. Enjoy an espresso, latte or cappuccino while surfing the net with our free WiFi.


VP of Dining Services

Todd Ohle is an honors graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he developed a passion for food and service.  He went on to study hospitality management at Florida International University in Miami.  Todd has more than 20 years of experience as a Chef and leader in restaurant operations spanning a wide spectrum to include serving as a personal chef for the Versace family in South Beach, managing banquet operations at Fearrington Village, and various leadership roles restaurant operations and ownership.  Todd also has more than nine years of senior living experience having previously led the dining operation of The Cypress of Raleigh, an upscale CCRC serving 300+ residents.

Todd resides in Wake Forest with his wife and their two children.

Executive Chef

Jody McLeod began his professional career with a classical Canadian apprenticeship working in a variety of restaurants and hotels where he was able to gain experiences in many cuisines.  Canada’s diverse culinary tapestry encouraged his interest in travel so when an opportunity arose to work with the Leading Cruise line Holland America, he eagerly accepted.  His travels took him to over 90 countries and 380 cities.  Since leaving the cruise industry Jody was the Executive Chef for the I.O.C international Olympic committee for the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver.  Executive chef for SeaWorld INT and just before landing here at Carolina Meadows was the corporate chef for Duke University.
