From the submissions of more than 50 photographs from 26 residents, three best-of-show pictures were chosen in the Fall Photo Contest on October 26.

The judging process was organized and staged by Frank Baine, a charter member of the Photo Club.

Judges Howard Harper, Dorothy O’Connell and Peg Richardson, left, looked, pondered, and settled on three pictures submitted, featuring Bob Lackey’s Antiques, Marge Miles’ Which Way Is Up, and Frannie Lyon’s Favorite Art Supplies #4. It was a hard call for the judges since there were so many excellent photos to choose from.

The full array of submissions is on display in the Fitness Center. The next Photo Contest is scheduled for the winter 2012.
